“Gamers can feel when developers are passionate about their games. They can smell it like a dog smells fear. Don't be afraid to hold onto your unique vision: just be aware that it may not turn out exactly how you envisioned.”

Pitches
During the pitch discussion, I most likely brought up several games for you to check out and research. Here is how you should go about doing that:
You can type the name of the game into the search bar at the top of the BGG website.

On the game page, there are two very important sections to check out
- Main Bar - specifically Images, Video, Files, and Shopping.
- Images - Pictures of the game and its components. Useful for manufacturing ideas.
- Videos - Videos of the game in play. Great for competitive research and refining your game.
- Files - Often contains the game’s rulebook - useful for rulebook research or understanding how it’s played.
- Shopping - If you want to buy a copy
- Mechanisms
- BGG organizes all of its games by their mechanics, which is SUPER useful if you are trying to find games similar to what you are doing in your game.
- On a game page ,you can see all the Mechanics that belong to that game. If you click into a mechanic, you will see a dedicated page to it, along with other games that share that mechanic. This is a great way to find more games for research!

You can also access the mechanic search from the homepage using the “Browse” Menu
